Delivering engaging and timely music request programmes under tight deadlines for the community hospital radio. Each Monday, I had 20 minutes to plan and execute the show, which involved collecting song requests and messages from patients, informing them of the broadcast, and quickly preparing the playlist and programme before going live. It was a fast-paced, rewarding experience that honed my ability to think on my feet and create enjoyable radio to tune into.

The Mrs
“The Mrs” is a psychological thriller about a husband and wife whose obsessive love blinds them to reality. The husband is a serial killer, and the wife is too consumed by love to see his actions as wrong. While I like the premise and ending, the script needs work on character development and formatting, as it was my first script after returning to scriptwriting. Feedback from my scriptwriting tutor, Richard Davies, and fellow writer, revealed differing opinions on the ending. Inspired by The Script Selling Game by Kenyon Yoneda, I plan to refine this script, exploring alternate endings and improving structure with a treatment and plot analysis before redrafting. Antique Store
Draft 1 of Antique Store (previously 'Memory Lane') has strong character development and a well-established location, both of which received positive feedback from my scriptwriting tutor. The premise holds promise, and the story's heartwarming tone has potential for emotional depth. Richard Davies, a professional scriptwriter, also appreciated the concept and saw value in its direction. Despite currently being a short story, the foundation is solid, and I’m excited about building on this engaging idea. [September 2021]
W.I.P
This is the draft of the script I am currently working on. I decided to challenge myself to write something more out there. I usually struggle with world building and putting abstract ideas into writing, especially in script form. The script is set in the not so distant future, where aliens and humans are co-existing in the universe, but humans are (unlike usually portrayed in films) the last to join the intergalactic space race. The story will be about blood ties, found family, and coming of age in an age of nonsense.
